Because deletion is not a permanent state. Data brokers constantly buy in fresh records – from public registers, prize draws, address trading, data breaches. Your address usually reappears within weeks or months because it was purchased again from a new source. On top of that, new brokers keep appearing. Without ongoing monitoring, most of the effect would be gone within a quarter. That is what the subscription is for: check, delete again, follow up.

Yes, and we will say so openly. Anyone may exercise their rights under Art. 17 GDPR themselves, free of charge. The effort is the point: identify the controller, draft the request, track the one-month deadline, chase it up, and repeat that for every single broker – then start over regularly. We take the repetition off your hands, not the right.

Under Art. 12(3) GDPR every broker has one month to respond. Cooperative companies often delete within days; with others it takes several attempts. Your dashboard shows the status and the running deadline for each request.

Only what is needed to identify you unambiguously: name, address, date of birth, email addresses. We pass on to each broker only what they need for identification. We do not sell data, do not use it for advertising, and you can have your account and all its data deleted at any time.

We review their reasoning. If it does not hold up, we object. If they still refuse, we tell you plainly what options remain – for example a complaint to the competent supervisory authority. Some records may lawfully remain, for instance where a statutory retention period applies. We will tell you that too, rather than claiming success.

Any time, with one click in your dashboard – no notice period, no questions asked. Nothing further is charged, and you keep the protection until the last day you paid for. If you are unsure beforehand: within the first 30 days you get a full refund, on the annual plan too. Data already deleted stays deleted either way – only the ongoing monitoring ends.
